The automatic detection equipment developed and designed by this project can realize automatic detection of molds through the organic combination of motion systems, control systems and visual systems. A set of mold inspection processes can be completed within 15 seconds, and the inspection situation can be recorded online and fed back to the central control room, effectively improving the production efficiency and product quality of structural parts products.

This device mainly consists of two parts, the motion system and the visual system.The motion system includes an X-axis motion module, a Y-axis motion module, a Z-axis motion module and a device support system; the vision system adopts the Cognex industrial vision system, and the camera is fixed to the front end of the Y-axis motion module of the motion system. The position of the visual system is controlled and converted through the motion system, collects the residue on the mold surface, and compares it with the standard image. The computer draws conclusions to realize the quality detection of the mold surface.
